From a series of 9 Untitled Drawings, Mechanical Pencil on Paper

This series of nine observational drawings taken from my sketchbooks over the last month. The drawings stand alone as quick snapshots from life and together as a recommitment to the practice of daily drawing. These pieces, presented in a museum like lucite are specimens of time and place from the artist’s life. That spotted lamp above the bookcase downstairs, the wine cooler at work, the old apartment on Ravenswood, and on and on.
